What more do you need to know about air purifiers?

Useful terms you should get to know...

As air purifiers make their way in homes more and more intently, the following terms tend to become more and more necessary both towards understanding the operation of the appliance as well as in order for you to make the choice of the model that best suits you much easier:

CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate)

The CADR rating reflects the performance of the air purifier and is used to measure if the device may correspond to the size of your place. For example, an air purifier with CADR 300m³/h can cover spaces of up to 45m², while an air purifier with CADR 500m³/h can cover spaces of up to 80m².

PM 2.5 (Particulate Matter)

The PM 2.5 reflects the number of particles with a diameter of 2.5μm that are found in the air. The particles may come from the microbes and viruses that can be contaminated by humans, the pollen from plants, the microbes of pets, the exhaust gas and the cigarette smoke. The lowest the value of the PM 2.5 indicator, the purifier is the air in your place.

VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds)

Chemical compounds that are both human-made and naturally occurring. Respiratory, allergic or immune effects on infants or children relate to anthropogenic VOCs and other indoor and outdoor air pollutants. Common examples of everyday life are the acetone nail polish remover, the gasoline, the electronic cigarettes, the antitank balls, the deodorants, the natural gas.
